Spray Applied Fiberglass Insulation
![]() Spray applied fiberglass insulation is an excellent way to install insulation in the hard to reach places. This type of spray-on insulation can be applied to nearly any surface and any configuration required. At Southern Foam Insulation, we have the expertise, equipment, and resources to expertly apply spray-on fiberglass insulation to even the most challenging configurations.
Some of the many benefits of spray applied insulation are as follows:
Another great benefit of spray applied fiberglass insulation is that it does not promote mold growth. In order for mold growth to occur, there must be a food source. Paper-based products provide a food source that can result in mold growth, which can be very detrimental to a building. However, our spray applied fiberglass insulation is inorganic, so it is not possible for this product to facilitate mold growth. As such, there is no need for any additional products to inhibit or prevent possible mold growth. Sound control is an important factor in any building design, and our spray applied fiberglass insulation is excellent for sound control. It fill all voids, cracks, and holes in order to mitigate sound transmission. Whereas traditional insulation, such as batt, leaves these areas open and exposed resulting in sound transmission, our spray applied insulation achieves superior sound control. This acoustic effect provides excellent reverberation control in many settings, such as:
